1. See Chicago\u2019s beauty shine through in light displays <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re looking for fun for all ages, check out some of Chicago\u2019s light displays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lincoln Park Zoo is a Chicago landmark. And they host one of the city\u2019s favorite winter traditions: Zoo Lights<\/a>! This festive display offers free nights, sensory-friendly displays, and special events. You can also see cold-weather animals like polar bears, snowy owls, and even Chilean flamingos in their outdoor habitats. And then warm up inside indoor exhibits like the ape house and lion house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another amazing illumination display is showcased by the Chicago Botanic Garden. Lighscape<\/a> includes everything from an illuminated trail to singing trees that you can croon along with. If you\u2019re having trouble getting into the holiday spirit, you\u2019ll definitely want to check this out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Make time for a show<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Chicago has one of the best theater scenes in the United States. You can take in some reimagined classics at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater<\/a> or attend a masterpiece at the infamous Goodman Theatre<\/a> in the heart of downtown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
